Well this is pretty terrifying news for Seahawks fans: according to TMZ, Ciara has filed legal documents claiming she's worried about Russell Wilson's life.
Ciara, according to TMZ, filed documents in a defamation case she is already pursuing against rapper Future, her ex-boyfriend.
The singer, currently engaged to the Seahawks quarterback, previously filed the suit against Future after the rapper called her a bad mother. The two share a child together and Future has been less than thrilled about the kid going to Seahawks practices.
In the Russell-specific portion of the lawsuit she alleges Future has made subtle threats to Wilson, including the posting of football and gun emojis on social media.
She also makes mention of the song he dropped last month, in which he says, "Tryna f*** my baby mama, dog what's up with you? You gon' make me get that heat, I'm pulling up on you."
Ciara's legal filing described Future's behavior as "frightening" and "socially irresponsible" and, according to TMZ, she noted there "has been a recent rash of gun violence" in Future's history.
It's pretty bizarre to see someone like Wilson, given his squeaky clean public image, mixed up in the middle of what appears to be a toxic relationship between two very famous people.
The Seahawks star has cultivated high-brow sponsorships, consistently does work with children's hospitals and has made it clear he has a heavy interest in faith-based activities.
