Oh to really love...how rare that is.
Love creates miracles. While it is something that may only last a minute or may last a lifetime, it is the thing that transcends all barriers and boundaries and causes one to find a way to make it all happen.
For those who have been hurt in the past, to love is one of the hardest things to do. They fear being battered by it's emotions waves again and losing themselves again. However, when one decides to take consistent runs at love they usually find it somewhere down the line and are filled up by it.
Love is a game changer. It breaks barriers, it brings people together, it transcends time and space and truly can change the course of history. We have seen that happen over and over again. Love is the thing that creates the greatest amount of change.
Love, however you want to write it or speak about it, still remains quite unexplainable.
The people in our lives and the people around us can all be loved. In fact, we can use our own life as a representation of love if we wish. If you can stand vulnerable in front of others and represent what is possible for relationships with others in this world, you stand as a living display of love.
What makes the idea of love so complicated is that it comes and goes when it pleases. One minute it's there and the next minute it is gone. But that's honestly how it's supposed to be. It is supposed to leave us at times so we can truly appreciate it when it comes back.
Love can be an incredible, life changing, path altering emotion and yet like all things, it will also pass. It comes in and out of your life as it pleases and can even break you down into tiny pieces. But when it comes back, it can put you back together again and light your heart back on fire.
Love is pretty darn complicated.
So cherish and love the people who are in your life right now. Give them every single ounce of love that you have. Don't rest amongst the cold and timid souls who rather hide in the shadows and keep their love to themselves. Instead, stand as a light for others and show them the way.
